  • This paper deals with karyotype analyses of two species of Artemisia from Inner Mongolia. The chromosome numbers of both species are reported for the first time. Their karyotype formulae are as follows:Artemisia ordosica Krasch., 2n=36=28m+6sm+2st; Artemisia intramongolica H. C. Fu, 2n=36=26m+2sm+8st(2SAT).
