Screening and Insert Size Analysis of Candidate BAC Clones from Brassica napus A Genome

Thirty-nine A genome specific BAC clones were successfully screened by four-dimensional PCR,with the primer sequences of eighty-five SSR markers located in the ten linkage groups of Brassica napus A genome from the BAC library of Brassica napus-Xinjiang wild rape disomic alien addition line.The thirty-nine screened BAC clones had an average insert size of 120 kb(range 50 to 300 kb).This set of BAC clones will be of interest to A genome chromosome identification,gene locating,and relationship analysis between physical distance and genetic distance in Brassica napus.
