  • Five alkaloids were isolated from the root of Zanthoxylum nitidum var. fastuosum How ex Huang. They were known alkaloids: ethoxychelerythrine (Ⅰ), nitidine chloride (Ⅱ), des-N-methychelerythrine (Ⅲ), α-allocryptopine (Ⅳ) and liriodenine (Ⅴ).
