  • Peroxidase(POD) and polyphenol oxidase(PPO) in the roots of the cultivars in Cucurbina pepo L/.and C.moschata Duch. were studied by means of polyacrylamide gel slab electrophoresis. The relationships were compared by clustering. The results showed that:10 peroxidases and 6 polyphenol oxidases were separated. e1,e4,e5,e6 and e9 in cultivars are similar, e4, e5 and e6 were clearer and the particular enzyme bands. e'1 and e'4 were clearer and similar in cultivars.
