WETLAND STUDIES ON RESOURCES AND VEGETATION IN ZONGYANG OF ANHUI PROVINCE

Zongyang wetland lies to the north of Yangtze River in Anhui Province about 30°39′ ～31°05′N, and 117°04′～117°44′E.There are four types of wetland in this area, among them, the lake wetland, having an area of about 213.6 square kilomters, is the biggest wetland.Besides this, there are wetland of sand dune along the river Yangtze, river wetland and wetland of reservoir and pond.The aquatic and hygrophytes vascular flora in Zongyang wetland is composed of 37 families, 67 genera and 101 species.The life form and ecological chara cteristic of the wetland vascular flora, the characteristic and value of association are ana lysed.According to these, measures for the protection and utilization of the wetland resources were suggested.
