GEOGRAPHIC DISTRIBUTION OF THE RARE, ENDANGERED AND PROTECTED PLANTS IN ZHEJIANG AND THEIR CHARACTERISTICS OF FLORA

  • In this paper, it mainly analyses the distribution types of the 51 genera of rare, endangered and protected plants and their geographic distributions of the 56 species as well as the floristic characteristics in Zhejiang. The results are summarized as follows:1. The fact that there are the major chinese endemic genera and monotypic genera as well as oligotypic genera in this region shows ancientry and relative origin of the flora of the rare, endangered and protected plants in Zhejiang province.2. The distribution types of 51 genera are obviously of temperate nature, but the geographic distributions of 56 species are mainly subtropical floristic elements and they have close relationship with subtropic flora in Central China.
