  • This paper discusses the variety compositions and the flora features of the medicinal plants in Shaanxi, analyses their dispered characteristics.1. The resources of the medicinal plants in Shaanxi are rich. They belong to 2278 species(including the grades under species), 989genera, 241 families.2. The medicinal plants in Shaanxi have relatively ancient nature. Tbey have a thousand and one links with semitropic flora in middle China, at the time, they have younger compositions which shows characteristics of temperate zone nature.3. The distribution of the medicinal plants in Shaanxi is not even, because of the deferences in gelogy, landforms, soil and climatic conditions.4. The medicinal plants in Shaanxi have many flora compositions. They have closely relations with East Sichuan-West Hubei and northern parts of China.
