Abstract:
In this paper, the age structure, survival curve and the rule of numerical dynamics of
Pinus tabulaeformis population in Yunmeng Mountain, Shanxi Province are studied by using quadrat method, moreover, the relationship between numerical dynamics and community succession is discussed. The result indicated :
P. tabulaeformis population has the dynamic feature of increasing and decreasing type, inner mechanism effecting its numerical dynamics is result from light resource competetion of intraspecies. Though the bulk of the
P. tabulaeformis population is being continuous decrease, the community constructure and characteristic of it has not significantly changed in longer time.
