Abstract:
DNAs of 180 accessions belonged to 10 groups in
Prunus persica were amplified with 22 ten-base primers selected from 200 arbitrary primers using RAPD technology.180 loci were observed and recorded. With statistical analyses of the data from this experiment, genetic diversity of the groups expressed as follow:yellow peach group>mitao group>flat peach group>red-leaf peach group>crisp peach group>bitao group>honey peach group>nectarine group>shouxingtao group>weeping peach group.Of 180 loci,37 had higher genetic diversity in the total individuals, while 13 exsited between groups.Groups clustered by UPGMA modified from NEIGHBOR procedure of PHYLIP version 3.5,edible peach ones of which were combined as a set, while the others belonged to each set separately.Through analyses of genetic diversity and genetic cons-(truction),they can provide biomolecular evidence for conservation and utility of germplasm of
P.persica.
