Abstract:
In our present study, the woods of
Betula luminifera Winkler,
Populus adenopoda Maxim,and
Juglans regia Linn were used to culture
Gastrodia elata Bl.instead of the traditional wood,
Quercus fabri Hance.Four woods and three dosage levels were paired up with two
Gastrodia elata forms with three immature tuber dosage levels to explore the best technology of cultivation of
Gastrodia elata. Our results showed that the effect of different woods on the yield of G.elata Bl.f.elata and G.elata Bl.f.
glauca S.Chow.were different.The yield of G.elata Bl.f.elata was higher than G.elata Bl.f.
glauca on condition that they were planted with their four woody species. The highest yield treatments of the two
Gastrodia elata forms both presented in Betula luminifera. The yield on
Populus adenopoda and
Juglans regia treatments were acceptable. For artificial cultivation of
Gastrodia elata, the woody species of Betula luminifera,
Populus adenopoda,and
Juglans regia could be used instead of Fagaceae completely. The high-yield treatments screened from all 72 treatments can be referred in practical production(woody and immature tuber dosage per square meter):12 kg of Betula luminifera wood associated with 0.8 kg immature tuber of G.elata Bl.f.elata;12 kg of
Juglans regia wood associated with 0.6 kg of G.elata Bl.f.elata immature tuber;14 kg of
Populus adenopoda wood associated with 0.8 kg of G.elata Bl.f.elata immature tuber;14 kg of Betula luminifera wood associated with 0.6 kg of G.elata Bl.f.
glauca immature tuber;12 kg of Betula luminifera wood associated with 0.6 kg of G.elata Bl.f.
glauca immature tuber;10 kg of
Juglans regia wood associated with 0.8 kg of G.elata Bl.f.
glauca immature tuber.
