Abstract: The article is mainly to describe flowering and bearing habit of Chinese flowering quinceChaenomeles speciosa(Sweet) Nakai in Changyang, Hubei. The author points out:Chinese floweringquince flowers first, then unfolds its leaves; the inflorescence is a cyme;bearing branch is a specializeddwarf and cluster twig;the development can be divided into two phases:young fruit development and laterfruit growth.
