Abstract:
The compositions of the volatile oil in the flower of
Parakmeria lotungensis (Chun et C H. Tsoong) Law were studied by means of GC-MS technique, and the chemical structure of 57 constituents that account of 85.59% of total content were identified. The main components were β-Pinene(12.85%), d-limonene(7.78%), caryophyllene(4.89%). Besides, some sesquiterpenes oxide such as caryophyllene oxide(3.33%),1-H-cyclopentacyclopropabenzene(3.52%), α-cadinol (3.61%),α-pinene(3.22%)contained a large part of fraction in total oil. The antibacterial experiments of the oil had been studied on
4 tested strains
in vitro, it showed that the oil had some certain antibacterial activities to
Escherichia coli,
Salmonella typhi.
