摘要: 基于采自缅甸北部的栽培植物,对兰科新种根茎兜兰(Paphiopedilumrhizomatosum)作了描述和绘图。此新种具长8～10cm、粗8～12mm的根状茎与较坚硬的根;与我们所知的种类有极明显的不同。它在花的色泽与形态方面与小叶兜兰(P.barbigerum)相近,区别点还在于叶要大得多,宽达2.5～3.5cm,退化雄蕊先端近截形并有短尖头。

Abstract: Anew species of Orchidaceae,Paphiopedilum rhizomatosum S.C.Chen et Z.J.Liu (Subgen.Paphiopedilum,Sect.Paphiopedilum),is described and illustrated based on a cultivated plant collected from northern Myanmar.This new species is quite distinct from the species known to us by having a rhizome up to 8～10 cm long and 0.8～1.2 cm thick, and rather stiff roots. It is similar in floral colour and morphology to P.barbigerum Tang et Wang,from which it differs also by having much larger leaves up to 2.5～3.5 cm wide and subtruncate- and mucronate-tipped staminode.
