Abstract:
Stomata and indumentum of eight species representing
Rehmannia and
Triaenophora of Plantaginaceae were observed by scanning electron microscope(SEM),and all species are reported here for the first time.Stomata of the taxa are anomocytic type. There are two indumentum types in the taxa studied, those are cellulous pilose, add cellulous glandular hairs and cellulous woolly and cellulous glandular hairs.Traits of the stoma and indumentum can’t be used for identification of the species of
Rehmannia and
Traeinophora, but the indumentum has obvious difference between
Rehmannia and
Triaenophora.
