A STUDY ON THE PLANT FLORA OF MAZONGLING NATURAL RESERVE IN ANHUI PROVINCE

  • Mazongling Natural Reserve is one of the richest area of Dabie Mountains in woody plant flora.It contains 77 families, 194 genera , 524 species(including subspecies, varieties and form).Based on thorough and careful statistical analysis of families, genera and species, the results show that; there are abundant ancient, relict, rare and nearly exerminating plants; the temperate and subtropical elements of the woody flora have a dominant position; the floristic elements are in wide connection with the flora of the world; it is the area where East China, Central China and North China are convergent.The woody plant flora of Mazongling is situated in the flora of East China.
