APPROCH TO THE FLORA OF THE RARE AND ENDANGERED PLANTS IN JINGGANG MOUNTAIN

  • This paper mainly analyses the distribution types of the 35 genera of rare and endangered plants and their geographic distribution of 39 species (including varieties) as well as the flora characteristics in Jinggang Mountain. On the basis of this analysis, some important significances of the rare and endangered plants are discussed as follows: ① The ancient members of the rare and endangered plants show that the geological history and the climate in Jinggang Mountain were relative stability after Jurassic and the flora evolution surely continued. However, it was possible for the flora in Jinggang Mountain to occur from Devonian to Jurassic. ② The analysis results show that the plant flora in Jinggang Mountain had close associates origination with ancienty tropic, perhaps it had more relations with southern China than with eastern China, but few associations with western China. ③ As the evolution causes of endemic plants which only distribute in Jinggang Mountain, the ecologic factors can play a more important role than the history causes. Moreover, temperate plant's ecologic evolution was
