STUDY ON TIP GRAFTING IN VIVO BY USING IN VITRO PLANTLETS

  • Based on the mechanism of plant tip growth potential plantlets regenerated from Actinidia chinensis endosperm culture in vitro as scions were grafted on 1—2 years seedings or juvenile vine of fruit plants. Survival rate can reached to 90% and the grafting plants flowered 1—2years in advance compared with the control plants.Tip grafting in vivo by using in vitro plantlets not only increased survival rate, but also simplified cultural expenses. The tip grafting is significant in fruit trees either conventional breeding or biotechnological breeding.
