  • During our recent investigations for water bloom forming blue-green algae,Planktothricoides(Wołoszyńska) Suda et Watanabe 2002,a new record genus of cyanophyta for China was identified.The present study described distribution and taxonomic features of this genus,and the comparison between Planktothricoides and its related genus Planktothrix was also discussed.
