Investigation of Rare and Endangered Plants in Jiangxi Province

Statistics based on the List of Rare and Endangered Plants in China (first issue) and the List of the Important Wild Plants for Conservation in China (first passel), there exists 95 rare and endangered species in Jiangxi Province. These endangered plants are possessed of the features of rich in the category, ancient origin, wide distribution, and floristic complexity. Further more, most of these plants are highly valued in economics and scientific research. Therefore, aside from analysis of reasons in endangering plants in Jiangxi Province, the protective suggestions for these species are put forward.
