STUDIES ON THE CHEMICAL CONSTITUENTS OF ZANTHOXYLUM STENOPHYLLUM HEMLS(Ⅱ)

The chemical constituents of the root of Zanthoxylum stenophyllum Hemls., Rutaceae, were examined. One new alkaloide designated as bistenofine, m. p. 137—139℃, three known alkaloids, decarine, arnottianamide liriodenine, one phytosterol, β-sitosterol, were isolated. They were identified by IR, UV, MS, element analysis, ¹H-NMR-"tickling method", ¹³C-NMR DEPT, ¹³C-NMR-APT.
