Bulbophyllum sonii Aver. & N.V. Duy, a new record of Orchidaceae from China

Bulbophyllum sonii Aver. & N. V. Duy (Orchidaceae), a new record of orchid from Tibet, China, is described and illustrated here. This species is similar to B. brevispicatum Z.H. Tsi & S.C. Chen, B. eublepharum Rchb. f., and B. yunnanense Rolfe, but differs by having purple flowers, lower edges of lateral sepals connate, forming a cymbiform-shaped synsepal, petal margin ciliate, and anther cap with small crystalline projections.
